Emilee & Spencer | Salt Lake City Utah Wedding Photography

Oh how I love this wedding. This couple was so amazing and I am so excited to show off their gorgeous day and all the special details of it. I think one of my favorite parts of a wedding is all the little details that make it unique to that couple. And not one detail was overlooked with this gorgeous reception. I am just in love with all of it!

Don’t you love the BURLAP BANNER? Such a cute idea to tie into their vintage LOVE BIRD themed wedding. Cutest idea, and it came from one of my very favorite websites ETSY. Oh and I just have to tell everyone…Emilee won this wedding dress from Abigail Wright Designs. Isn’t it amazing!!! You can see more of her creations HERE.

I am absolutely in love with the bridal party attire! It is so classic and looks amazing. And the colors were perfect! This was such a great bridal party and they were all so fun and kept me laughing the entire time!!!

This was one of my very favorite details of the wedding. OUR WEDDING TREE is adorable and can be found HERE. They had all the guests who attended their wedding ceremony sign a leaf. Such a cute decoration that will be priceless to them forever. And of course the two little LOVE BIRDS are sitting in the tree…K-I-S-S-I-N-G.

Candy bars are so popular but I love the little details that they added. The framed signs were super cute, and don’t you love the custom printed candy sacks! So cute…and they carried the LOVE BIRD theme even onto the bags.

The food was amazing…pretty much all I need to say about that!

A wedding with a PICTURE DISPLAY I think is always a big hit. And I don’t just think that because I am the photographer:)People love to see a couples pictures. And they did such a great job of having the images scattered all throughout the wedding. Don’t you just love the bracket SHAPED CARDS they did as part of the centerpieces…ya, I designed those! I was SO in love with them!

Keeping with the LOVE BIRD theme, there were so many little touches that were just so classic and beautiful. Sometimes a theme can go a little crazy, but this bride did such an amazing job at making sure things were totally classy. I was in heaven! Loving every minute! Here is a peek at a few of my favorite touches. The broach on the bouquet, two little love birds, of course. Birdcages to hold the cards! And I was soooo in love with the schedule! It totally kept guests from sneaking out too early because they wanted to be part of all the action. Such a great idea! And if you are getting married in SLC and are looking at reception centers. You should seriously check out THE WOODS ON NINTH. They were so fabulous.

Don’t you just absolutely LOVE their LOVE BIRD WEDDING CAKE!!! It is so incredibly adorable. And the cake stand…a bird bath! Genius! You can check out the girl who made her cake by clicking HERE.

Okay…so this was MY VERY FAVORITE PART of the whole wedding. And this wasn’t a detail carefully planned by the bride, this was a very secretive suprised planned by the totally cute and sweet and hilarious groom. It was one of my very favorite wedding moments EVER! So for weeks, the groom and his buddies had been secretly practising and choreographing a song to serenade his cute bride with. How romantic right? Now think for just a minute…take a guess at the song…I Will Always Love You? Unforgettable? Unchained Melody? Nope! Nope! and Nope! What was the perfect song to express his love to his new wife…How about a little “Teenage Dream” by Katy Perry. Best love song ever right! Here is a little sampling of the lyrics for those of you who may not know it…and if you don’t get on YouTube immediately!

“You think I’m pretty without any makeup on. You think I’m funny when I tell the punch line wrong. I know you get me. So I let my walls come down…down. Before you met me. I was alright. But things were kinda heavy. You brought to life. Now every February you’ll be my Valentine, Valentine. Let’s go all the way tonight. No regrets, just love. We can dance until we die. You and I, will be young forever.”

It was perfect!

And of course, they had a photo booth! Such a fun addition to a wedding. And people loved it! And wait until you see the AK Studio & Design photo booth! Coming soon!!!!

So pretty much I think everything about this wedding was amazingly perfect! And I think from the smiles on the bride & grooms face they felt the same. Congrats you too and have a totally blissful life…“Don’t ever look back. Don’t ever look back.”
