Outside it is so gloomy…and I have been working on this gorgeous brides wedding, so I thought, what better time to post their Bride & Groom session.
I have had the opportunity to shoot quite a few weddings at the Draper LDS Temple, and I don’t know what it is, but every time I have shot there the weather is terrible. It is rainy, hailing, snowing, and always, always, always windy. I am sure that it is based on the location of this gorgeous temple all nestled right on a mountain. But sometimes I wonder if it might be me and my luck
And the day of this session was very well the coldest and windiest day I have ever shot. I had on about a hundred layers of clothing and my skin hurt because it was so cold, so I can only imagine how this gorgeous bride felt. But you could never tell because she was totally rocking every frame.
And now that things are said and done, and I have had months to un-thaw, I also have to say that this is one of my favorite sessions ever at the Draper Temple. I love the moodiness and the colors that were there that day. The wind ended up being one of our greatest assets and helped us create a handful of what are my most favorite shots. And I am so excited to be finally sharing these with everyone!
