Do you remember ShaeLynn and Travis? (If not, hurry and peek their engagement session HERE.)
ShaeLynn is a girl that knows that she wants. Organized and armed with checklists in everything that she does. A wedding is where you need this kind of organization.
And then there’s Travis. He’s quiet and loyal and one of the nicest grooms I’ve worked with. And he loves Shae! So much so that over the course of their dating years he moved to two different states (from California to Idaho to Utah) just to be closer to her.
So let’s talk about their wedding day at The Gardens at Dry Creek. Oh boy, it was HOT! The sun was blinding, right up until the ceremony when a cloud came over – and stayed for the entire ceremony! It was the most perfect timing, because as soon as the ceremony was over, the sun was back out again.
The lower gardens for the reception were a welcome reprieve from the sun. Tall trees make for perfect shade. Fountains for white noise and good company for a comfortable night to congratulate and celebrate the newly married couple.
When asked about what she wanted her wedding day to be like, this is what ShaeLynn told me: “A special day filled with love, music, and fun. I want everything to go smooth, getting ready with my girls, while my handsome groom is with his boys. Our wedding will be special because I will be marrying a special man. The man who has my heart.”
I know it is safe to say that she got exactly what she wanted.
