One that spent the night pestering and annoying me, and one who came to my rescue.  Two weeks after the party I get a text from a number, that I don’t recognize, asking me out. When I found out that it was Charles (the boy who rescued me that night) asking I couldn’t agree fast enough! And five years later we are still together and can’t wait to FINALLY be married.

CAMRYN & MATTHEW
Hello, we are Cami and Matt…Although we prefer being addressed as Master Natasha and General Pushov. Here are a few things that you should know.  Cam’s  quirks include: singing show tunes shamelessly loud in the streets, and tossing herself into the air at unexpected times hoping Matt will catch her.  Matty’s quirks include: Dancing on his tippy toes, and using his impeccable reflexes to catch Cam when she’s suddenly falling.  We want to win this contest so Abbey can capture all of our crazy moments on our big day!

We were having a tickling match and the words “I love you” popped out of his mouth and he sat back with a stunned expression realizing what he had said.  It was then, looking at the expression on his face, that I realized I loved him with all my heart. We met playing intramural flag football when Ammon threw me the first touchdown pass of the season. How romantic right? We are best friends! We love to have epic adventures together and are never bored. We love to go together for a ride on his Bullet bike! He comes from a extreme family ranging from all different kinds of sports from Lacrosse, Wake-boarding and Motocross. And I have grown up on a dirtbike and horses so I got some tough cowgirl in me! Being a single mom I had about given up on love. When one random night I let my hairdresser set me up on a blind  date. That guy was Trevor. We went to dinner and bowling and had a good time. KELSIE & TAYLOR
We could use a break, so far the wedding planning hasn’t exactly been the smoothest road. When using romantic Chinese lanterns to propose to his true love…Tay crashed & burned. Well, the lanterns crashed and grass in the field below them burned, so he and Kelsie had to run down & stomp it out before he could propose. She must really love him because she still said yes! These two lovebirds are so hot right now. VOTE for the couple on fire!!!

LACEY & MIKE
It began with Lacey thinking a boy with blue hair would make a great friend and Mike thinking this beautiful girl would look good next to him.  Slowly, and we do mean slowly grew into a friendship and love that will stand the test of all times.  We have had adventures from mini golfing to snowboarding, rock climbing, hiking, horseback riding, and vacations.  We have been through many great times and also low points.  We would love to win this photography contest because many of our loved ones are unable to be with us due to illness,  injury or distance.  We want to be able to share this special time with them to the fullest.  Winning this contest we could capture all the great memories and share them for all time.

MARY & COLTON

Colton and I have the typical love story, we met through a mutual friend (whom I was dating). He was the captain of the MMA (cage fighting) club at Snow College, and I was serving as Miss Snow College, in other words we were polar opposites. It was the lion falling in love with the lamb, and no one saw it coming! So maybe our story isn’t so typical, but he definitely “fought” his way into my heart- and we have been inseparable ever since!   We are so excited to finally have the wedding we have been planning for years, and would be completely thrilled to have even a small financial burden lifted off our shoulders! We have waited 4 long years, and our wedding can’t come soon enough!

MICHELLE & DUSTIN
Dustin and I met our freshman year in college. He asked me a few times to go on a date with him and finally told me if I go out to dinner with him once, he will never ask me again. So I did…..and now 4 years later it still has been the best decision I have made. Dustin proposed this last Christmas and I have been on cloud 9 since. I am now finishing up my first year in Physical Therapy school and trying to plan our wedding all at the same time. I absolutely LOVE this couple! One of my favorites ever…and can you believe how amazing the SLC Temple looks! It was all ripply with this amazing golden light. I was in heaven!!!!

This couple is just about as gorgeous as they come. And they are as sweet and fun as they are good looking…and I am super excited because this session was featured on Utah Bride Blog…you can see more HERE.

Another super fun engagement session with a great couple! We had so much fun! I am seriously so lucky this year because all my couples are SO FUN!!!! I have had so much fun on all their sessions.

In the middle of all these gorgeous couples, I do occasionally get to snuggle a new little babe! This guy was seriously a dream come true. So adorable!

Can’t wait to show you more of this session! These two were a total riot! I love when couples are so silly with each other and their fun personalities get to come out in their session.

If I had my way in the world, this couple would get married every year! I just loved everything about them and had such an amazing time being their wedding photographer. But I have a feeling that more good things will be coming to this blog featuring them.

How did this little cutie go and grow up on me? She is so incredibly gorgeous!!!

A little bit of wind didn’t stand in the way of this Bride & Groom Session. This couple is so amazing and their session has the most amazing feel to it. You will love how the wind totally added the drama that we needed.

So these two…I barely think they knew me and my super wonderful assistant were there. They were so in love and so into each other. After a very long distance relationship, they are just so excited to finally get to be together. And I wished I could capture his accent (he is from England) and put a little bit of it on here…because it is so awesome. I have to admit I have a little bit of an accent crush

I couldn’t have planned this shot any better! Little lady did this one all on her own…don’t you just love it? And wait until you see her “model” shots. She totally rocked this session!

One of my favorite families ever! So glad to be able to finally do some family pictures for them!

This engagement session was so fun. We had the most amazing weather and all the locations were just awesome! She is the most organized bride and that just makes me giddy!!!!

One of my very favorite clients. I love getting to meet with the “forever favorites” again to see how the kiddies are growing up. I am so excited with the colors of this session. Despite the fact that it was freeeeezing we had such a great time!

I can’t pinpoint exactly what it is, but I am obsessed with this bride’s dress! It was so flowy and perfect…I was in wedding dress heaven!

This is another couple that should get married every year, or at least throw some awesome bash and invite me! Their wedding was SOOOO fun! And just wait until you see all the dancing pictures. What a party!

This couple is one of the most laid back I have ever worked with, and I love that about them. Even their style is so laid back and just shows off their personalities so well. So excited for their upcoming Cinco De Mayo wedding…and I am giddy to eat some salsa and chips!!!

Just wait until you hear this couples story. They are so incredibly amazing. This is probably corny, but this bride changed my life. I seriously love her. This couple did something I have never done before…it was amazing!!! And you will just have to stay tuned to see what it is!

Senior season got off to an amazing start with this total beauty!!! Can’t wait to show off her whole session!!!

And last but most definitely not least, is the wedding of this gorgeous couple. And I feel like I have accomplished something now. I have now officially photographed all of the Babcock Kids!!! Whoohoo…go me!

And this guy, just went and grew up on me. I can remember when he was just barely five and we did our first session. He was so adorable and sweet, and such a good big brother. We had such a fun time that summer day. And now here he is 3 years later. How could that have happened so quickly? But as much as I hate the growing up part, it is fun to see all the new things our little kiddos get to go through. And I am so proud of him and his big decision. Good job bud!

Just had to share one of this cute little face! Okay, I guess really it is two…but isn’t he just so sweet. We had such a great time at his session. He was so incredibly sweet. I was just so in love with him It was a really gorgeous day and we were able to stay outside for most of the session, and just like any boy he was loving being in the outdoors. And can I just say, I was right there with him. Each day I am seeing more and more signs of spring and I am in LOVE!!!

After a gorgeous wedding at the St George Temple the entire bridal party made their way up north to this couples gorgeous reception at The Bungalow in Pleasant Grove. It was simply gorgeous. When you stepped into this garden it was like you were taken away to a perfect English Garden. Every detail was so perfect. I loved all the brides vintage touches from the white washed antique doors that were used in the picture display and all the white iron pieces throughout. It was so gorgeous…

Oh and I have to mention the food…oh, oh, oh…the food. It was totally de’lish! They had Kneaders cater it and it could not have been more perfect. But one of my very favorite parts of the whole wedding was instead of the traditional wedding cake, these two love birds did a wedding cake made of cheesecake. It was so yummy! I am such a huge fan of cheesecake and to have an entire wedding cake devoted to it was sublime. And such a great idea, right!

So take a minute and enjoy this gorgeous wedding. I am so excited to be showing it off and feel so lucky to have been a part of this gorgeous couples big day. They were one of the most amazingly wonderful couples I have ever worked with and I am so happy to share their big day with everyone.

My heart is so full as I write this post. This past week I have had the amazing experience to be a part of these little ladies lives. Miss Iron County Crystal Cardon’s platform is on pediatric cancer and she has worked tirelessly on the Fight Like A Girl Campaign. She has focused her efforts on four little girls in our city who are all suffering from pediatric cancer. Hallie Munford, Sadie Webster, Avery Evans, and Kensley King are some of the most amazing and brave little girls I have ever met. And I felt so lucky to be a part of the princess party that was thrown for them…

What a fun filled day…getting their faces painted by an amazing artist, making candy treats, blowing bubbles, and painting nails. But the highlight was definitely when the three real live princesses showed up to spend the afternoon with them. They were so excited! I have to admit my heart skipped a beat when they walked in the door. I am a total Disney nut and I can only imagine the excitement of these little girls as these gorgeous princesses walked through the door. With all they are enduring, I am sure that every joy is truly cherished. And as I got to watch both the little girls and the princesses cherish every moment of this special day. And I can’t help but admit it was such an amazingly tender and sweet moment. As I sat there watching them all have their princess party together I could hear the lyrics from one of my favorite songs playing in the background…

“A dream is a wish your heart makes, when you’re fast asleep,

Such an amazing day…

Fast forward a couple days and I was talking with my good buddy Tina from Irresistible Weddings about all the fun brides we had met, and we were looking at some pictures from the show and there was this picture of this one really cute bride that I had met and chatted with. I said to Tina, “I thought that bride was so cute, I would love to do her wedding. She was adorable.”

Fast forward a few more days to this engagement session. So I pull up thinking that I am meeting with one bride, and this cute girl (the one from the picture jumps out). I was so excited!!! So in the end in the end it worked out perfectly…I got this super cute couple that I am so excited to work with!

We had a great time at their engagement session and I can’t wait for the big day!!!
