There are a few indicators that hint at a session that has the potential to be a great one. Picture this: there I was rolling up to a parking only to see a gorgeous mom (I know her and so this wasn’t a surprise) dressed in an incredible, flowing maxi dress holding a cello, standing next to an equally beautiful equally well dressed daughter. Meanwhile the driver’s side seat is reclined…..alllllll the way back with a napping dad. Maybe this is the ticket to avoiding “angry dad syndrome?” Let the men nap until they are needed? I vote yes!
The Gale family was absolutely incredible. They were full of spunk and were not shy about dishing out dishes upon platters of sarcasm to which I responded with a resounding, “bring it on!” I love it when families mesh so well together that their session turns into all of us just hanging out. These session are absolutely the best!
I loved the detail and movement of all the Gale Girls’ dresses. Mindy let me on a little secret which I am now outing to the rest of the world because I feel like this information needs to be shared, her dress was from AMAZON. I don’t know about the rest of you but if it can be bought on Amazon, with prime shipping, there’s a good chance it will be on my porch in two business days. This shopping golden nugget just proves that you don’t need to consider a go-fund me page for family photo outfits.
I also loved this location, which should not be shocking to anyone that has followed my work. In fact, I have a long history with this scene. One that involves plenty of mud, 4-wheeler accidents, and a lot of my favorite memories. How lucky am I to get to work in such an amazing office? I count my blessings quite often, and am so grateful for so many things I get to do and experience thanks in large part to the people who love and support me. You know who you are. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
