Tinder for the win!
Its so crazy to me that people can find their one love online, but more and more that is becoming a reality. I have shot a handful of weddings with the most wonderful couples who all met on Tinder. And let me tell you, they are truly matches made in heaven!
I thought it would be fun to share Alicia and Tyler’s story, which started on Tinder today as we all ohh and ahh over their gorgeous bridal session.
Here is what Alicia had to say,
“We met on Tinder back in 2015. Our first date was at City Creek and we went to the Cheesecake Factory. We sat on some couches by a fireplace and talked for what seemed liked forever. After dinner we still weren’t sick of one another so we decided to go back to my place and watch a movie. He walked me to my car and kissed me for the first time in the parking garage. I was totally caught off guard. We hung out all the time for the next couple of weeks but it slowly just simmered down. Tyler now says that he got scared of all the feelings/connection. We remained friends and talked all the time and hung out several times until we started dating again earlier this year. We became exclusive after one date and started spending every moment possible together. It seemed so crazy to us that we hadn’t been doing this the whole time. After only a couple of weeks we went to go see some action packed man movie and I felt this overwhelming amount of love. I knew then that I loved him but of course refrained until he said it first, which was only a couple of days later! We knew we wanted to get married and started discussing it rather quickly. The Friday before Easter Tyler had got off work early and said he was going to go to my house to play with my puppy, Ella. I thought nothing of it until he started texting me like crazy asking when I would be home and to text when I was close. When I walked inside he was waiting with a handful of roses. He got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I was completely caught off guard and literally asked him if this was really happening. I’m pretty sure at some point I said yes and the rest is history!”
