Now that I live in Northern Utah, I don’t get down to Zion much to shoot. The last time I was there was to shoot Hailey and Tanner’s Engagement Session. So it was fun to head down one more time this summer for the gorgeous wedding of Krystle and Jake.
It was a hot summer day but everything was amazing and there wasn’t a single detail that wasn’t absolutely beautiful. And the most wonderful part was getting to Krystle and Jake and their wonderful families better. They were all the most loving, gracious group.
And while we are enjoying their photos today, I thought it might be fun to hear a little bit more about their story straight from Krystle.
“Jake and I met as beer bong partners in college when my girlfriend invited me over to his house because she was (and still is to this day) dating his roommate. Jake says he tried to make moves on me but I wasn’t having it. I was dating someone else at the time but we met up again a year later and started to officially date. Jake and I learned a lot about each other over the next 3 years. We both love God, our family, fishing, exploring, food and have passion for this life God has graciously given us. We truly enjoy our time together, are constantly laughing with/at each other and Jake has treated me better than anyone I’ve ever known. My family loves him too! He really is a good man!
3 years into dating, Jake and I went with a group of our friends to Alaska for the best trip I’ve ever been on! Alaska is so beautiful and my favorite place I have ever traveled. We went to Denali National Park where we were able to see Mt. Mckinley in all of its beauty. 1% of the people who have actually seen Mt. Mckinley have actually seen it 100% clear. We were part of that 1% and to make it even better that was where Jake proposed to me.
I am so happy and excited to be married to Jake. At the end of the day, I am excited to have a wedding and all but my heart truly lies with marring this man and spending eternity with him by my side.”
Isn’t that just lovely? Now enjoy the photos.
