I’ve Sarah and Andrew’s story. They were high school sweethearts! You don’t hear about too many of those these days. They both served a mission and wrote to each other the entire time. After reuniting at school at BYU after their missions, he proposed while skiing at Alta where Andrew took Sarah down a run where there were flowers and candles waiting for them at the bottom. If that doesn’t sound like the perfect set up for a Nicholas Sparks book than I don’t know what is. One of my favorite parts about their bridal bridal session was toward the end. After the craziness of preparing for the shoot, walking around the temple, driving to our second location, chasing the sunlight – they started to slow dance. We joked about needing music so I pulled out my Pandora “Clair De Lune” station. When the music started the mood immediately changed. It went from happy and excited to tender and sweet. They are getting married to each other for eternity, and it started to sink in. I am so blessed that I get to work with so many perfect couples. Couples who I know have found their person.
